When it comes to foam cannons, the most important aspect (other than basic foaming capability) is build quality. As long as the cannon gets the appropriate foam on your paint, we're not super concerned with slight variation in that respect. And as long as the soap formula does it's job (like HotLap), the foam cannon is just a necessary middle man. EVEN foam density isn't all that important when it comes to cleaning power, as long as it sticks to the paint. You just need the foam cannon to last, and you don't need to over pay for spray.

Foam cannons dilute and atomize soap with a pressure washer in order to create a soap lather that sticks to your paint without falling right off because it's too watered down or heavy. This allows the soap to do it's job before sliding off.

While many people like to rinse their cars, them foam bath, then rinse, then 2 bucket wash, then rinse again, we feel this is rarely necessary. With a soap like HotLap, you can get a really fast wash by foam cannon application and rinse with a pressure washer.
