Detail spray is essentially any spray used to finish the washing process of your paint. In general it cleans and/or shines your paint while providing lubrication. In our case, OneWiper does this faster and better than any detail spray out there, plus it provides a couple weeks of protection, and a shine that you just can't beat with such easy cleaning power and use. Plus it smells amazing.
If you are trying to have a shiny clean finish, absolutely. No matter how you wash it, your paint will have film, stains, hard water, or cloudiness over time that can't be removed or restored without a towel and a gloss enhancer. But you should rarely ever touch your car with a towel (even a new one) without a spray that provides lubrication too. With OneWiper, you won't have to deal with fussy residues and streaking or hard water stains, and the deep color enhancing shine it leaves is pretty wild.
We usually recommend car drying blowers (leaf blowers) over car drying towels. But using this drying and detailing spray in conjunction with a good towel is absolutely necessary regardless of whether you are using a giant drying towel or a blower. We highly recommend smaller, more controlled and higher quality towels over big giant towels that are hard to monitor for dirt and build up that can scratch your paint.
